Sandra at Punchbowl Cemetery.


On our visit to Hawai'i, Sandra and I made a pilgrimage to the grave of her Uncle Walter, who served as a corporal with the US Marine Corps in the Pacific Theatre during the Second World War. He is buried in Punchbowl Cemetery (a military cemetery) just outside Honolulu. Here, Sandra reads some of the plaques on a memorial in the cemetery.
